Saree Stories with Anju Kadam
May 25 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Every saree has a story, and we are eager to hear your story through the medium of your saree.
Join us for a powerful story telling session where we weave the stories of our lives to form a collective saree narrative that showcases what matters most to each of us.
Wear your saree, tell your story. For when we share our stories we realise that we find a little bit of ourselves in every story. Human emotion, memory, life, though complex, are not hard to identify with, and sharing of stories builds empathy understanding and community.
bout Anju Kadam:
A communications professional, Anju enjoys the challenge of piecing together a story to look at the big picture.
She is Founder and Chief Nurturer of the #100sareepact, a platform for voices of women to build the narrative of their lives through the medium of the saree.
She is also the Founder and Director of Webtv.in, a company that works to build effective communication for it’s clients.
She is an Ambassador for Pinkathon, India’s first Women’s only Run. A firm believer in a fit mind and body leading to unlocking of potential, she champions the cause for women’s health and fitness because a healthy woman can change and impact so many more lives.
A mentor on the Sheroes platform, Anju urges women to be counted in the workforce too.
She is also a yoga instructor and holds classes to share practices on breath and mindfulness.
If there is one description that suits her best, it is that of a custodian of stories. Especially those that inspire and bring change.
